ORGANIC APPLE CRISP SALE SUPPORTS MONTESSORI SCHOOL (Sales starts November 1) Orcas Islanders are in for a sweet treat! Orcas Montessori School is selling organic apple crisps, made under the direction of professional baker Heidi Hudlet.  The proceeds from the sale go to the school’s Appleseed Fund, to support students needing financial aid. The crisps are sold frozen, ready-to-bake for $16 each.  They will be available starting November 1, and can be ordered directly from the school by calling 376-5350.  They can also be purchased November 24, the day before Thanksgiving, at the school’s Island Market bake sale.
